Brand board for Jose Martinez III
Jose Martinez III — Architectural Designer
Quiet weight.
Warm core.
An identity for a designer who fills a room the way a still figure fills a doorway, then turns out to be the warmest person in it.
01Primary mark · Study A · The Seam
Quiet weight over a warm core, said in one gesture.
- Mass
- A slab with real weight to it.
- Lift
- Raised a hairline, as only the worthy can.
- Core
- The only light leaks out of the seam.
02Essence
Built to be worthy.
JM3 designs the way the Shape enters a scene: no announcement, impossible to ignore. The work carries weight. It is structural, forged and made to outlast its owner. At the center of every plan sits a hearth: a warm room, a kind gesture, a reason to come home.

03Studies · Abstractions
No hammer, no mask, no head. Each study reduces one idea to solid mass and a single ember. Pick one to see it run through the whole board.

09Symbolism · What the marks carry
- I
The Shape
Michael Myers
He never runs and never speaks. He arrives. JM3 takes that stillness, not the menace: calm, deliberate work that holds a room without raising its voice.
→ The Threshold study, framed silhouettes, held pauses in layout.
- II
The Hammer
Mjölnir
Only the worthy can lift it. It stands for the standard he works to. Build only what deserves to be built, and make it strong enough to last.
→ The Seam study: a weight lifted, never the hammer itself.
- III
The Dome
His own silhouette
A bald head is a perfect dome, the oldest form in architecture. The ember oculus at its crown is the warm heart, the light let in from the top.
→ The Oculus study and every circle in the system.
- IV
The Heavy
Zombie, villain, MC
Night of the Living Dead, a stage villain, bars on the mic. He knows how to play the heavy, so when the warmth comes through you know it is real.
→ Cinematic lighting, low-key imagery, rhythm in the copy.
- V
The Third
Jose Martinez III
A name carried forward. Three columns, three grip bands, three beats to a line. The 3 in JM3 is lineage, so it is the one glyph that holds the ember.
→ The Cadence study, triads in layout, Roman numerals for sequence.
10Imagery · Low key, one warm light
